The first Conference to include Churchwardens was on Monday May 19th 2003, 2pm at St Giles-in-the Fields, St Giles High Street, London. The Hon. Sir John Owen, D.C.L., himself a Churchwarden, recently a High Court Judge and Dean of the Arches, a Vice-President of the Association, addressed issues especially important to his fellow-churchwardens, and The Reverend Dr. Andrew Macintosh, D.D., Fellow of St. John's College, Cambridge, lately President, issues relevant to Patrons, having as Dean been responsible for filling the large number of College Livings.
